2019 Business Goals for Cames Creative

Here we are nearing the end of the second month of the year, and I am finally getting to sharing my goals with you! Better late than never - am I right or am I right? Anyway, here are five of my business goals this year.

1) Be a Vendor at My First Craft Show

This was one of my biggest goals for this year, and guess what - it’s already in the process of coming true! I’m going to be a part of the Queen Bee Market from March 8-9 in Las Vegas. If you’re a Vegas local, I would love to see you there!

I’m honestly not sure what to expect. I’m feeling so nervous, but I know it’ll be a good experience overall! And I know that I’ll be encountering some ideal clients for my business during my time there. Perhaps I’ll even get to make some connections to other business owners for potential collabs! The possibilities could be endless, and I know I’ll get out of it what I put into it. So, here’s to giving it my all!

2) Host My First Calligraphy Workshop

This is a scary goal for me honestly. It might seem like it would be easy and that everything would run smoothly, but there is a lot of unknown for me! I feel as though I don’t even know the first thing about teaching a class, but I’m going to do some research and create a fun, informational course! I’m not sure how it will go, but I’ll do my best! Let me know if you would be interested in attending one of my classes! If it goes well, I might consider doing this quarterly.

3) Be a Full Time Business Owner

Ultimately, I want to get to a place where I am able to bring in enough revenue to run this business of mine full time. It’s been tough because I’m still learning the best way to manage my time as I work at my other job. A lot of the times, I’ve come home so exhausted that I didn’t even want to put in time on working on my business. But this is going to be the year for change! I’m going to give it my all this year and see where it gets me! I don’t know much about running a business, especially on the financial side, but I’m thankful for all the free resources I can find online to help along the way.

4) Consistently Attend Networking Events

This is hard because I struggle with knowing how to connect with other people, but I know this is super important for my business! I need to put myself out there so that people know that my business exists. And how would I be able to collaborate with others if they don’t know about me either? It all goes hand in hand, and I’m working on making Cames Creative known.

5) Create a Content Creation Schedule

If there is anything in this world I do terribly, it’s probably this right here! I struggle with being consistent with posting on social media and blogging, but it’s super important for me to keep up with it to grow meh business! I want to create content weekly that I will be able to share with my ideal clients whether it’s through my blog, Instagram, Pinterest, or Facebook.

And there ya have it! Those are just a few of my goals. I’m always dreaming up of new things for this little business of mine, so stay tuned for more exciting things to come!
